Eva Fajardo, LMHC, CAP
Eva Fajardo earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with honors from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida (1974) and a Master of Arts Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida (1989).
Eva completed her Master's internship at The Getting Well Program in Orlando, Florida, counseling persons with chronic illness. For eight years, Eva worked in the field of addictions treatment in both private hospital and public agency settings. She served for three years as the Clinical Director of a Woman's Residential and Outpatient Addictions treatment program. In the addictions setting, Eva has worked as counselor, outpatient coordinator, assessment/ intervention specialist, educator, board member and clinical director. Eva has been a Certified Addictions Professional (C.A.P.) since 1990.
Eva entered Private Practice in November 1992, offering general mental health and addictions counseling to individuals, couples, groups and families. Eva continues to maintain an active private practice which now includes consultation and coaching.
In January of 2003, Eva was invited to teach as an Adjunct Professor in the Psychology Department, Hamilton Holt School of Rollins College. She also develops and presents Trainings and Workshops. Eva has presented in corporate and small business settings as well as with colleagues, students, clients, and the general population.

Darcie Friedberg, MA, LMHC, NCC
Darcie Friedberg is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Certified Hypnotherapist. Darcie earned her Master of Arts Degree in Mental Health Counseling with honors from Rollins College in 2006. She received the Rollins Outstanding Graduate Student in Counseling Award and was nominated for the Center for Drug Free Living Volunteer/Intern of the Year Award in addition to being the past administrator for the Florida Mental Health Counselors Association.
Darcie views therapy as a process, a process of self-exploration, acceptance, healing, and change. Clients may be challenged to look at varied possibilities or explore possible solutions, rather than remain focused on internal or external difficulties. Clients may be stimulated to try healthier behaviors or dispute negative beliefs. As each individual client is unique and distinctive, so is each therapeutic experience.
Darcie completed her Master's practicum at Pasadena Villa in Orlando, counseling individuals with chronic mental illness, her Master's internship at the Center for Drug Free Living in Orlando, counseling persons with substance abuse issues, and her registered internship at Florida Hospital's Center for Behavioral Health, Acute Care Facility, facilitating psychotherapeutic groups. In addition to working with a diverse clientele in her private practice, Darcie facilitates individual, family, and group counseling at a residential and day treatment facility.
Darcie has been inducted into the Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International and the Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology. She is also a member of the Mental Health Counselors of Central Florida (MHCCF).

Carmen Perez-Illade, LMHC, NCC, Certified Hypnotherapist
Carmen Perez-Illade is a former university professor with a Ph.D in Spanish Literature, however, in her quest to help people achieve their full potential, Carmen changed career paths and her aim now is to be a caring and competent therapist. For that purpose, Carmen completed a Master of Arts Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College and is presently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and a Board Certified Practitioner with the American Institute for Rapid Trauma Resolution and the International Academy for Advanced Clinical Hypnosis.
Carmen's mission as a psychotherapist is to instill hope by motivating people to believe in their potential for growth and self-healing, and to incite them to move toward happiness and inner peace. Carmen sees herself as an agent for creating a sense of balance and purpose in life. That is her highest vision for herself, and her wish for you.
Carmen is also a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist. She works with individual adults, adolescents, couples, and families, assisting them in learning healthier skills to get along better; and to attain meaningful relationships where you can feel loved, are able to love, and be yourself. Carmen has received training for doing Imago Therapy with couples and families.
Carmen has experience treating a wide variety of issues: depression, anxiety, grief and loss, abuse and trauma recovery, relationship issues, divorce, domestic violence, PTSD, direction for the future, acculturation, life adjustments, addictions, and eating disorders.

Jesse Sparks, MA, LMHC
Jesse’s passion is helping people to discover strengths within themselves to better navigate the complexities of modern life. Enriching relationships, feeling more connected to the world around them and succeeding through difficult transitions are his general aims in working with his clients. He views the counseling process as a collaborative effort based in the idea that people are really their own best “experts”. Through this process, he works with his clients to help them set their own goals and pace for the therapeutic encounter.
He brings a wealth of experience to the counseling field. He has worked in both inpatient and outpatient environments with a diverse clientele on a wide range of issues. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees with honors from Rollins College. He completed his Masters clinical practicum at Pasadena Villa, in Orlando where he continues to work as a staff therapist with clients experiencing chronic mental illness and dual diagnosis. He completed his Masters Clinical Internship at the Greenhouse Community Counseling Center where the bulk of his caseload focused on family therapy. He is a National Certified Counselor (NBCC) and is a current member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), Association for Specialists in Group Work (ASGW), Florida Mental Health Counselors Association (FMHCA) and International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors (IAMFC). During his graduate studies, he was inducted into the Psi Chi National Honors Society in Psychology. Most recently, Jesse accepted an appointment as an adjunct professor of Psychology at Valencia Community College.
His areas of specialty include adolescent transition, couples counseling, addiction, chronic depression, self-esteem, anxiety and fears, sexual identity concerns, grief and loss, divorce, spirituality, career coaching, relationship issues, men’s issues and others.
He has been a resident of the Central Florida area for more the 30 years and enjoys motorcycling, music, theater and his yellow lab “Lucky”.
